Bio
DJ Ash “Prodiji” is an open-format DJ who prides himself on paving the way for the new generation by evolving cultures in a new, exciting and modern fashion. Being of South-Asian descent, Prodiji has always aimed to bridge the gap between the sounds he most resonated with during his childhood, that being Indian Classical and Hip Hop.
Due to his pioneering work in mixing these two genres, it has led him to back some of the biggest Urban and Indian musicians on their tours around Australia as well as landing him both nightlife and wedding-related opportunities in an international space too. With his involvement at Culture Kings as an Official DJ since 2020 and performances at some of Perth's top Hip-Hop/R&B events and venues, Prodiji has gained an increasing popularity and high demand both within the nightlife and private event/wedding scene. This is shown by the fact that he has performed over 500 events in the 5 years that he has been involved as a DJ.
While Indian music and Hip Hop/RnB has always been Prodiji’s first love, he is adept in all genres of music. If you’re looking for someone who’s able to bring a young, fresh, energetic and experienced approach to your special day, Prodiji is your man! He’s a master behind the turntables and is smooth-spoken on the mic!
